There’s no Spin-In today I’m afraid, I have been helping out Alice this week getting the new shop ready for today’s Socktopus Grand Opening! I’m just about to pop back over there again (for the fun bit this time, not the carrying-boxes bit!) so I will simply leave you with some eye-candy to sweeten your Sunday.
Leave me a comment and tell me what you’re spinning today :-) I may be on Lingr later tonight, but I’m not sure how things will pan out, so pop in just in case.

That is gorgeous yarn. I haven’t spun in months - and I really need to get back into it!

have fun at the opening, wish I lived nearer so I could have joined in.
I am anxiously waiting for 2 bobbins of BFL humbug to ‘rest’ so I can get on with plying them, and have been spinning some BFL dyed by me in the meantime - a lovely turquoise, pink and purple, so bright it can probably be seen from space.

I’m spinning roving termed “fire and water” and it’s got bright blues, reds and oranges in it.
Where’d you get the gold roving? That’s gorgeous!

I’m *still* spinning my All Spun Up merino/silk on the spindle. Yesterday I finished a 34g skein of navajo plied, I reckon I’ve got about 35g or so to go of the 4oz braid. I’ve got loads of projects that I want to start on the wheel (including some fibre I bought at the Sockotus stand at Ally Pally) but I really need to get the spindle project done first.

I’m spinning hand-carded beautifully soft kid mohair! I’m told it is destined to be a woven rug for DD2.
And about to make myself practise spinning with one hand because a (second-hand) charkha jumped out (via a friend) and grabbed me.

I like what you did with that roving! Yummy, scrummy. :)
I’m working on a few things at the moment. The wheel has some AllSpunUp Merino/Silk on there. The Bosworth has some Red Stone Yarns Cashmere/Silk and the Wildcraft spindle has some Merino/Silk from Red Stone as well…
