Book series sometimes get a bit lame towards the middle or the end (film series too), just ask anyone who’s still persevering with Wheel of Time. Thursday Next #3, however, is still up there with the best and I can’t wait to get my hands on number four.

I’m impressed with your reading speed! I thought I was doing quite well this year with 2 1/2 books read so far. I have Thursday Next #2 lined up.

I didn’t finish reading the whole Jasper Fforde series. I did enjoy the first few. As for the Wheel of Time, it really, really sucks having the author die before finishing the series. ;^) Yes, I do know that there is someone that is tasked with finishing the last book based on RJ’s notes, but still!
I’m in the middle of book 6 for the year and have three skeins of yarn spun with a fourth that just needs to come off the bobbin and be plied. Feeling good too about the knitting progress, have projects half done towards this month’s goal and almost done with the second mitt of a pair of fingerless for me. Just need to get a pair of socks started this month and I’ll be set.
